Do we have a moral responsibility towards less fortunate people?

In my opinion, we really dont have a moral responsibility towards the less fortunate. It is really up to the person if he/she will have a sense of responsibility towards the less fortunate. I as a moral person, think that I have moral responsibilty towards them because donating through small thing like old clothes, canned goods etc. will help them in a big way. All of us werent blessed with a good life, so let us help each other.

Is it wrong to divulge a secret someone has confided in you?

Again, it all depends upon the situation at hand. If the secret that is to be divulged is for the benefit of the good, then there is nothing wrong with divulging it even though it was meant to be kept a secret. On the other hand, if it is a secret that wouldnt harm anyone or anything like if the secret was that a person was saving money for his/ her boyfriend or girlfriend, and suddenly you spoil the surprise by telling it to others, then that will be the time when divulging a secret is wrong.

Should we eat meat? Should we wear animal skins?

Eating meat gives us certain vitamins such as protein, iron, zinc and selenium. So, yes we need to eat meat because it helps boost our bodies. We should wear animal skins because of its extreme comfort, but we also have to put in mind that if the production of clothes that contains animal skins continues, then that means animals are dying in the process.

Should we try to keep people alive at all costs, no matter what their physical or mental condition?

Yes. No person should be killed in the hands of another person. Only God can decide when he will take us. It would be immoral if we would kill people just because they are "different" from us. All of us are equalor the same in this earth.

Is it wrong to kill someone in self-defense?

If A certain person's life is in grief danger, that person should do his best defending him/herself. If killing is part of that process, then there is nothing more we can do. In the first place, there wouldnt be any problem if that person wasnt threatened or put in danger by another person. Killing INTENTIONALLY is wrong, that is a whole different story than that of killing somone during self-defense.

Should people be given equal opportunities, regardless of race, religion, or gender?

Of course because all of us are born equal. We should pracctice being just all the time no matter what the situation is. This involves providing equal opportunities to everyone – regardless of what their race, religion and gender is. Also promote peace and stop oppression. By doing this, we can have a greater bond with other s and we would have a better society or better yet, a better world. <3

Is it wrong to ridicule someone even if you believe it's in “good fun”?

This depends on the situation. If the setting is that of a "barkada", then ridiculing each other would be normal that is if they are really close or their bond is strong. If the setting of the situation is that of a person to another but they are not friends, then the one who is getting ridiculed might get hurt because that also means you are judging the person without you getting to know that particular person.

Should you “bend the rules” to advance your career?

In where ever my future will be or where ever i will be in my future, I will always do the right and just thing. will always be innovative and creative in whatever I do without harming other people. If "bending the rules" will be the good thing to do if it comes to my career, then I will.

Is it all right to manipulate people into doing what you want if you believe it's for their own good?

Based on my experience in my past relationship, manipulating is NEVER right. It is true that if you see that what you want him/her to do is for their own good, then you should do your best to convinve to them or make them realise that what you want for them is the best for them. But then again, we dont control their lives. We can only do so much for them. Walang forever.

Is there anything wrong with pornography?

Pornography only makes the our POV of women merely as onjects. Though for others, they say that it is for educational purposes. though for them it may be true, we cannot deny the fact that if we give in to pornography, it will only makes us the same as animals. We are human beings, we have the ability to think. We should learn self control for a peaceful life.

Should we always try to take other people's needs into consideration when we act or should we first make sure that our own needs are taken care off?

There is nothing wrong with considering the needs of other people when we act. If it helps/benefits them, then we should act accordingly. But if considering the needs of others becomes a habit and you think of them all the time instead of yourself, then that is stupidity. We should take care of oursleves too.

Should we experiment with animals in order to improve the quality of our lives?

I think that it is necessary to experiment animals to improve the quality of our lives. All things on earth have a purpose for the human race where we utilize them in a way to improve our living. In example, we use flowers for decorations, wood in building shelters, diamonds for jewelry, coal for fuel, cotton for clothing and vegetable for consumption. These are some of the many resources on earth that we use to make life easy; and, when it comes to experimenting animals, medically, It does help solve the problems of incurable diseases and open the gates for scientists in exploring more answers, whether its for medical purposes or for the accessibility of the people.
